Our Mission

At Lazy Waves we are a purpose-led business with the mission to leave our planet better than we found it through good design and beautiful products. We want to inspire a community that cares for the planet and wants to preserve its natural beauty.

We care deeply about the planet and business that gives back to nature. That’s why we’re thrilled to be partnering with One Tree Planted to plant 10 trees for every yoga mat sold.

Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing, and create jobs for social impact. We’re excited to have reforestation as an integral part of our business model.

Since our inception we've been able to plant over 50,000 trees, that equates to 2.9 Million kilos of carbon. Every mat has a lasting positive impact on the environment.

The second major way we leave a positive impact on the environment is through the manufacturing process of the microfibre suede used to make our Handy Towels and the topping of our yoga mats. This suede is made entirely out of recycled ocean plastic meaning that since our inception we've been able to remove close to two tons of plastic from our oceans.
